Poor House

Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-07-27. This policy explains what we collect when you use poorhousebar.com and what we do with it. The short version: we do not ask you for personal details, and we do not sell data.

What we collect

  • Nothing you type. There is no account, no newsletter and no comment form on this site, so there is no form for you to hand us personal information through.
  • Standard server and analytics data. Pages requested, approximate location derived from IP address, referring page, and browser and device type. We use this in aggregate to see which pages are read.
  • Email you send us. If you write to the editorial address we keep the message so we can reply and act on it.

Affiliate tracking

This is the part worth reading. When you click an operator link, that operator's tracking system records the click and a campaign identifier that tells them the visit came from this page. If you then open an account, the operator attributes it to us and pays commission. This normally involves a cookie set by the operator or its affiliate network, not by us.

We never receive your name, address, account details, deposits, balance or play history. What reaches us is aggregate counts. Once you are on the operator's site you are under its privacy policy, and that is the one to read before you register.

Cookies

  • Essential: basic cookies needed to serve the site.
  • Analytics: aggregate readership measurement.
  • Affiliate: set by operators and networks when you click through, as above.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking affiliate cookies does not change what you pay or what an operator offers you. It only affects whether we are credited.

Third parties

We serve fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser when a page loads. Our hosting provider processes requests in order to deliver the site. Affiliate networks process click data as described above. We do not sell or rent data to anyone.

Retention

Server and analytics data is kept in aggregate. Email correspondence is kept while it is useful for handling your query and any correction that follows.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Since we hold very little, this usually amounts to email correspondence. Write to the contact address and we will act on it. For data an operator holds, contact that operator, because we cannot reach it.

Children

This site is for adults of legal gambling age and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
